Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we understand that sometimes returns are necessary. You can return the goods to us for a full refund, credit or exchange. Please read our returns policy carefully to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Return policy
You have the right to return any product purchased from Barewalks within 14 days of the delivery date. The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in the same condition in which you received it.

Initiate a return:
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at support@barewalks.com 
Please include your order number, a detailed reason for the return and photos.

Return shipping costs:
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part or the product proves to be defective/incorrect (colour or size). Please note that delivery delays due to customs clearance, over which we have no control, are not considered a valid reason for a return.

Requests for returns:
Barewalks operates worldwide and in some cases we may not be able to provide you with a return label to return your order. However, you will receive a label with return instructions.

In the event that your package arrives damaged, defective or contains the wrong colour/size, we will cover the cost of return shipping. You will receive a voucher code that you can use for the return. For all other return reasons not mentioned above, the customer is responsible for the return costs. We recommend that you return the item in a traceable manner;

Returning orders with problems:
Damage/incorrect colour or size Products that are faulty, defective or damaged in transit can be returned. The item must be in its original, unused condition and in its original packaging. After checking your enquiry, we will issue you with a returns number and give you instructions on the returns procedure. Please make sure to send the return within 14 days of receiving the return authorisation number.

When we receive the returned product, our team will check whether it is eligible for return. If the return is approved, you will receive a replacement or refund as requested.

Request for exchange
Exchanges are only possible within the specified return period, usually within 14 days of the delivery date. Please ensure that the product is properly packaged to avoid damage in transit. We only offer exchanges for products of the same value. If the exchanged product has a different value, the customer must pay the price difference. The customer bears the cost of return shipping.

Exceptions for returns / items that cannot be returned

All returns must fulfill the following conditions:

  • Unused and unwashed: Items must be in their original, untouched condition. We cannot process returns for items that have been used, washed or altered.
    No damage: Items must show no signs of wear or damage unless they were delivered in damaged condition.
  • Hygiene Products: Certain hygiene products, including but not limited to underwear, bikinis, sleep masks, hair elastics, make-up, hair styling products and beauty products, cannot be returned. However, if you have any problems with your purchase of hygiene products, we are happy to find alternative solutions. We can offer you a discount, a refund in the form of shop credit or a free exchange for another item. Our goal is to make you happy while maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene.   • Special exceptions: In some cases, we can send you a replacement item without you having to return the original item. If you are not satisfied with the replacement item, both the original item and the replacement item must be returned in order for you to be eligible for a refund. Please note that this is an exceptional case and a subsequent replacement can only be issued if the item is returned.

Restocking fee:
All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. This fee is to cover the costs of processing returns, storage and any depreciation in value of the returned goods.

Conditions for waiver:
Storage fees may be waived under certain circumstances, for example:
- The item received is defective or damaged upon arrival.
- An incorrect item was shipped and a replacement item is not available.

Requests for waivers are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Processing the exchange
Once you have received the item you wish to exchange, we will initiate the exchange process. You will receive a new order number and the exchange item will be dispatched as soon as we have checked and processed your exchange request. Please note that the processing time for an exchange may vary.

Refund processing
Once we have received the returned item, we will inspect it and initiate the refund process. The refunded amount will be credited to the original payment method. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on the bank's processing time. Any restocking fees may be deducted.

Refused parcels and not-at-home situations

If the consumer refuses to accept the parcel at the delivery addres and/or is not at home at all delivery times, we will charge a 50% restocking fee of the purchase price. This will cover all logistics and return costs for the parcel to our warehouse.

Changes to the return policy:
Barewalks reserves the right to change or update this Return Policy at any time. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
